Cairns stylist Pip Addison is a professional stylist with over 20 years of experience in the fashion industry.

As the principal stylist of Modernstyle founded in 2008, Pip’s long list of credentials span from individual styling through to both corporate and commercial marketing and advertising campaigns and more recently fashion workshops. Pip’s passion however lies in helping men and women of all shapes and sizes look and feel great. Pip can work with any budget and for any occasion. Pip’s love of fashion often takes her to Melbourne as well as various other destinations keeping her up to date with all fashion forecasts for each upcoming seasons which enables her to then find the look for less at a chain-store price tag. A personal highlight for Pip was meeting one of her own style icons, Rachel Zoe.

Pip has vast experience on the commercial front also having done numerous editorial fashion shoots, and writing fashion blogs for magazines such as Cairns Life; The Cairns Eye; Cairns Post; Oasis and also Profile Magazine. In addition to this Pip has styled and coordinated fashion events and fashion parades, including Cairns Amateurs High Tea; Cairns Cup Fashion Ambassadors; Cairns Central Season launches and also Face of Cairns Central; as well as appearing as a guest judge for Fashions on the Field at various local and regional race meets. Some of Pip’s other works have also been styling for Cairns Central Christmas television commercials, Oceana Walk Arcade television commercial; Cairns Nova 8 international marketing campaign; the exclusive QT Port Douglas wedding shoot; and also media campaign styling for the Cairns Airport refurbishment.

Pip believes that seeing a stylist should not be considered a service just for celebrities. It’s simply a small investment in one’s self as a means of creating confidence and looking your best, or for the time poor who know what they are looking for but have little time to find it.
